Current Families

 

Dear ICS Families,

 

Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year! I truly believe that this is going to be an amazing year for every ICS family. These past few weeks of school have been incredible. The Spirit of the Lord is evident everywhere. The 51 new families that the Lord has brought into our community this year are such a blessing. I have had the privilege of spending time with many of them, and I hope that you too will reach out to them and welcome them into our family.

 

I hope that you have witnessed our theme verse, Deuteronomy 6:5, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and strength” being lived out in our school. Last week I heard students pray this verse for their own lives, I saw it on a bulletin board and even received it written out on a yummy bag of chocolate chip cookies from the World Cuisine cooking class. As we continue to pray this scripture into our lives and the lives of our children, we will see God’s amazing power at work. May we always be a community that seeks Him first in all things.

 

I am praying for each of you to have a spectacular year! We are off to a fantastic beginning.
